These kits will fill that “hole” around the coupler areas on an otherwise great model from Life-Like.
These kits come in 2 flavours: A unit and B unit.
The A unit kit comes with a replacement front coupler box, rear coupler box, Rear MU hanger, and Front and Rear lift rings (Front lift rings only needed on 4104 and 4105)
The B unit kit comes with 2 sets of rear coupler boxes, rear MU hangers and rear liftrings.
Installation of the replacement coupler boxes is easy….remove the origional, throw away the centering spring (the replacement boxes dont allow for a centering spring) and reassemble, install the new box.
The MU hangers are keyed to be glued onto the inside of the shell. I suggest using Walthers goo to adhere it.
There are holes for MU hoses on both the front and rear of the unit.
The Lift rings are included…..please refer to prototype photos on where to install them.
